A word from Rosy on her new jewelry company – TAATAAI:

The idea began long before we had anything to put down on paper when girls discovered a mutual love for design and self expression through the art of jewelry… and many years later, a dream came to life as TAATAAI.   Because we love the name  and what it represents –  Renewal, Rebirth, Transformation, Ancient Wisdom and Frog ( In the Wayuu language –  Indian ethnic group of the Guajira Peninsula of northern Colombia ),  our company name is TAATAAI.
We share the love of unique jewelry / art pieces that define a modern, refined, confident and sophisticated woman as well at the obligation to contribute to the economic development and improve the quality of life of women globally. Because we value talent and fair trade,  we aim to identify talented women artisans and become a vehicle to sell their products globally. (Website is under construction and will be up and running soon!)

“Anyone who goes to sea no matter where they are going or their destination, knows that there will be new shores and new worlds waiting.  The sea is both an end and a beginning.

Baudelaire wrote ‘Free man, you will always cherish the sea’  It’s our mirror in which we may see our souls in the swell of the waves.”

– “The Eternal Sea” by Philip Plisson
