What the Grovers and Taras Have been Up to Lately…

Please read a message below from Tiffany:

If you’re receiving this, you’re my family, a friend, or a colleague in the movement to empower women and girls. As most of you know, I’ve spent the past year in coffee shops writing my first book, Drop the Ball: Achieving More by Doing Less, which will be published by Flatiron, a division of Macmillan, in February 2017. It’s a memoir and manifesto, mostly for women struggling with the pressure to do it all. But I swear there’s inspiration in it for everyone.

You’re probably anticipating this next ask and you’re right: I need you to buy Drop the Ball now, please. Find it at droptheball.com.

Here’s why: Today Drop the Ball becomes available for pre-order with booksellers, but it’s too early to get the average person excited about a book that won’t be released until February. This is an early announcement just for you (because you are so not average). Pre-orders play a gigantic role in the success of a book, so you buying Drop the Ball now will make a huge difference.

I’m filled with gratitude. Your investment means the world, and I’m hoping Drop the Ball will help change it for the better.

Rebecca Boenigk has been featured in a new book titled “Above and Beyond the Glass Ceiling” by Michael Caldwell.  The book highlights the stories of 25 women who shattered the barriers to their ascension in the world of business.  The book is available now for purchase.

Lauren Smith Named NACD Florida Chapter President

Philadelphia, PA — Diversified Search (Diversified) Managing Director Lauren E. Smith has been named President of The National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Florida Chapter.  The NACD Florida Chapter was established by National Association of Corporate Directors in 2005 to create a local, cross-industry peer-to-peer director forum for the exchange of corporate governance knowledge and ideas throughout Florida.  Smith, a member of Diversified’s Miami office, was elected to the role because of her deep understanding of board composition, the board’s role in strategy, and the Florida marketplace. She has been involved in the leadership of the NACD Florida Chapter since its inception.
