FRITZI WOODS

Fritzi was a fun-loving, hard-working supporter of advancing women in all aspects of professional life.  She took over the role as head of the Women’s Foodservice Forum, and worked tirelessly to have women step into leadership positions in that industry.  Her goal was to re-shape the vision of what could be as women were elevated to the highest levels of achievement.  But she never took herself so seriously that she couldn’t show up at the Grove Mardi Gras evening in Rio wearing a long blonde wig.  She had difficulties with her knees, underwent surgery, and wound up with an aneurism that claimed her life way too early.  Her sudden and untimely passing was a shock to all who knew and loved her, and those of us who did know and work with her still miss her terribly.
