Tour and Lunch at The Atlanta Botanical Gardens with the Dale Chihuly in the Garden Exhibit

Cost:   $40 Estimate (not including transportation) Internationally acclaimed artist, Dale Chihuly, has returned to The Atlanta Botanical Garden for his largest garden exhibit yet, and includes 19 installation sites through these beautiful gardens.    Nationally acclaimed chef,  Linton Hopkins, recently opened his new restaurant, Linton in the Gardens.   Our program includes lunch at his restaurant, followed by a meeting with Mary Pat Matheson,  President & CEO of the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, where she will talk about the “behind the scenes” of the Chihuly exhibit.  You will then enjoy a personal tour of the beautifully manicured grounds, with the stunning Chihuly exhibits.    Be sure you make it all the way to the Orchid House, which is the last stop on the Chihuly tour…but what beautiful surprises await you!   Your tour will end with a trip to the gift shop to celebrate your memories of Chihuly in the Garden.   The cost for admission to the Garden is $19; and lunch prices off of the menu run from $15-25.    It will truly be an exceptional way to start your Grove 2016 Mini Retreat!! General Details on some other Atlanta Attractions are listed below: Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum (Visit on Your Own) Located in Atlanta, Georgia, the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum is part of the Presidential Library system administered by the National Archives and Records Administration, a Federal government agency. The museum showcases President’s Carters years in the White House along with the work he has done after his presidency. The Carter Center Museum is interactive and lays out the work the Center has done in”Waging Peace and Fighting Disease” around the world.  It is also in the middle of a large park and adjacent to an urban walking trail called the Belt Line.
