I-Got-You-Got

I Got/You Got Sign Up
When we meet in person at our various retreats, we like to host a feature called “I Got/You Got”, which gives members a chance to share opportunities or information with other members. It can be a chance to share job opportunities, upcoming books, new endeavors, Real Estate rentals, house swaps, or space available for trusted Grovers, etc.
This is not meant for you to sell something or ask for donations, rather a chance to highlight something you are passionate about. “I Got/You Got” is also a way for you to give back and volunteer something in return for a service or an opportunity you are looking for help with. So, give and get. You should speak no longer than 1 or 2 minutes.
Click here to sign up for I Got/You Got
Please complete the survey by5 PM ET on Friday, February 19.

Program

Cocktail & Mocktail Recipes

Cocktail: Becca-ritas

1 oz Don Julio Anejo- or the tequila of your choice

½ oz Grand Marnier

½ oz Cointreau

Juice from whole lime

Sweetener of your choice.

Mix together and shake like a martini to get it icy cold.

Drink and enjoy—limit is usually 2 because there is no mix so the lime juice is the only liquid that is not alcohol.

Mocktail: Faux-jito

6 thin slices of English cucumber, plus 1 long, thin slice for garnish

6 large mint leaves, plus 1 sprig for garnish

2 ounces fresh lime juice

1/2 ounce agave

Ice

4 ounces cold club soda

In a cocktail shaker, muddle the cucumber with the mint leaves. Add the lime juice and agave and fill with ice; shake well. Strain into an ice-filled collins glass. Add the club soda; stir once. Garnish with the cucumber slice and mint sprig.

Mocktail: Mockarita

2/3 cup fresh lime juice

1/3 cup fresh orange juice

1/3 cup light agave syrup

Kosher salt

1 cup ice cubes

1 cup chilled lime seltzer (LaCroix is good)

Combine the lime juice, orange juice and agave in a spouted measuring cup. Pour into an ice cube tray or two and freeze until solid, at least 4 hours and up to overnight. Pour the salt into a small dish. Dip the rims of 2 glasses in water, then dip the rims in the salt to coat. Combine the ice cubes, seltzer and frozen juice cubes in a blender and blend on high until smooth and pourable. Pour into the prepared glasses and serve immediately.
